All I want is a well-lit room.

My new apartment is equally adorable and creepy. The plus is that it has high ceilings, but the minus is that it only has high ceilings because it lacks a proper bedroom; rather, there’s a rickety wooden, spiral staircase that takes you to a large loft atop the living room. I think I’ll like it. There really isn’t much light downstairs and the only outlet that would make sense to plug a lamp into doesn’t work, but the “bedroom” has a window that extends the entire length of it, so I think that will do.

I’m kind of worried, but also not worried, about how I’ll pay for this. It would make a lot more sense if I’d gotten a roommate, only I don’t have any female friends and I highly doubt my boyfriend would like the idea of me sharing a room with someone who has a penis. OH WELL! It’ll all work out and I’ll laugh and cry and whatever. I’ll live~
